My family and I had a fantastic dining experience at Indian Mehek Restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and full of authentic flavours. We especially loved the Prawn Vindaloo – rich and perfectly cooked – along with the Butter Chicken and Lamb Rogan Josh, both tender and flavourful. The coconut rice added a lovely, fragrant touch and paired beautifully with the curries. The fresh naan was soft and warm, just right. We also enjoyed a refreshing cocktail and mango lassi, which balanced the spices perfectly. The service was just as impressive – the staff were very caring, respectful, and attentive. We recently celebrated my son’s 2nd birthday at Mehek Indian Restaurant, and it was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel welcomed and well looked after. The staff were warm, attentive, and incredibly supportive throughout the whole event. The food was outstanding—authentic Indian flavours, fresh dishes, and everything served hot and on time. Our guests couldn’t stop praising the quality and taste! The venue itself was clean, spacious, and beautifully set up, making it the ideal place for a family celebration. I n my husband went for dinner outside suddenly we saw one restaurant (Mehek)think of trying Indian food. We went inside it was busy. We were doubting regarding service at 1st time but when we sat down one of the staff members came with a smiley face and took our order. We were so relaxed by the atmosphere. Then she brings a bottle of water n we gave her our orders. We order tandoori chicken and samosa... It's was yummy n ordered a main meal (butter chicken/ naan/ Goat Vindaloo and lemon rice) was so yummy... Good level of spicy good food. Impressed.Reasonable price. We were on holidays for two weeks in Dec 2023 staying in Brisbane city near the Botanic Gardens. Walking around early evening looking for a place to enjoy dinner we happened upon Indian Mehek and thought we'd take our chances there. Best Indian food my wife and I have ever had in a restaurant. We returned three times over the two weeks and never once regretted it. One evening when we were unable to finish the meal, they even gave us a container we could take the leftovers in. Great food, good prices, fabulous service. Mehek is one of the fond memories of Brisbane we safely carried back to Perth. ~ Colin N

His hospitality and service were truly commendable, and he spoke to us with the utmost respect. Since it wasn’t too crowded at the time, we enjoyed a peaceful, quiet atmosphere. Simply put it was a top class experience. Food, staff and ambience all 5 stars. We were here for my birthday dinner with close friends. Komal looked after us. She was exceptional - service with a warm smile and hospitality was second to none. Food Tips - Try Daal-Makhani ( rate best in Brisbane) Go for any of their Naan breads ( ask to add some chilli). Mushroom do Piazaa and Malai Kofta were my 2nd favourites. Serve size of each curries - suitable for 2 people. So order accordingly. Perfect score! We thoroughly enjoyed and ate every piece of 4 different mains meals and service of samosas and saffron rice. Yum YUm YUM!!! While we had take away, the restaurant looked lovely and the staff provided outstanding service to each and every customer. Update: We had takeaway again 3 days later and WOW what a difference. This time it was very average and the Vindaloo and Korma tasted more like tomato soup. Overall still worth trying. 😊 ~ Brooke R

I have to share my recent experience with this restaurant. Recently I had an excellent dinner with my friend, food was awesome. My wallet fell on floor and without noticing it went back to my hotel. After reaching I realised I missed it some where. Then following morning I called them and enquired about the same. They responded immediately that they had it and I ran to them. My stuff was intact. We recently hosted a birthday party for approximately 85 guests at this venue, and we had an exceptional experience. Everything was very well organised, the food was excellent, and the service was outstanding. We highly recommend this place for parties, small gatherings, and dinner events. Lovely food- nicely presented and full of spicy flavour. Friendly and helpful staff and service. All at a reasonable cost. Nice ambiance too, although the restaurant should have been busier on a Sunday night, given the above. Probably at least in part, due to the competition from the river view restaurants. Me, my wife and two kids 7 and 6 absolutely loved the food. It was perfectly cooked, more than enough to fill us up, it came out in good time, service was fantastic and made us feel very welcome and they always had a smile. Fantastic setting! This place was empty but the food was fantastic and the service was great. All of you in the area not coming here are making a huge mistake. I told our server what I wanted and she made a great recommendation, exactly what I was looking for, and everyone else's food was great as well. I along with my wife went for lunch in July 25. We ordered Himachali goat curry, palak paneer and butter chicken with naan and roti. The food was excellent and freshly prepared. The restaurant did care of our request for lightly spiced palak paneer as my wife doesn’t take spiced food. Piyush, the manager, was exceptionally nice. Saffron rice taste so good along with lamb Vindaloo. Another day I tried Lamb rogan josh and tastes almost the same to me as Vindaloo. The dessert is absolutely the best! Its texture is much different from normal ice cream because this is my first time having Indian ice cream! I would grant 9.5 out of 10! ~ Super P

One of my absolute favourite places to eat in the CBD, and, in my opinion, one of the best places to get real good Indian food in Brisbane. Staff are always friendly and accommodating, and for a very fancy look and feel restaurant, the prices are great. Have been coming here for almost 5 years and will keep coming back.
